For more than thirty years, Ferguson & Shamamian Architects has been one of the country's leading residential architecture firms, renowned for a mastery of traditional architectural vocabularies, an unmatched dedication to craftsmanship, and a deep understanding of the dynamic collaboration between clients, architecture, interiors, landscape, and construction. With an extensive body of work--from sprawling country estates to elegant urban apartments and townhouses--Ferguson & Shamamian's singular appraoch to architectural design seamlessly harmonizes timeless, understated classical character, proportion and detail with a keen understanding of their clients' tastes, desires, and necessities for modern life.

In Collaborations: Architecture, Interiors, Landscapes, the firm's second book with Rizzoli, Ferguson & Shamamian Architects unveils its collaborative process through the in-depth examination of fourteen private residences across the country; each with their own unique story, architectural directive, and custom details that offer insight into F&S's design process.

Award winning Ferguson & Shamamian Architects was established in 1988 and is one of the country's leading residential architectural firms. Recognized for its custom residences in traditional and classical vocabularies, Ferguson & Shamamian is led by a dedicated team of Partners and Principals: Andrés Blanco, Stephen T. Chrisman, Peter G. Francis, Thomas J. McManus, Andrew Oyen, M. Damian Samora, and Scott J. Sottile, alongside founding partners Mark Ferguson and Oscar Shamamian. In addition to having their work featured in numerous national and international publications, the firm has been honored with many awards, including the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art's Arthur Ross Award, the Bulfinch Award, the Mizner Award, several Stanford White and Palladio Awards, as well as The Preservation Foundation of Palm Beach's Schuler Award. Ferguson & Shamamian's first book, New Traditional Architecture, was published by Rizzoli in 2011.
