The Preservation Foundation of Palm Beach welcomes David Harber, internationally renowned sculptor and creative director of the eponymous British atelier, for a captivating discussion on the art of time, light, and form.
For more than three decades, Harber has transformed landscapes across the world with his acclaimed sculptures, sundials, and water features. His artworks unite contemporary design with timeless craftsmanship. From public spaces and luxury developments to private gardens and estates, his pieces invite reflection, wonder, and connection through their play of light, shadow, and geometry.
Working from his workshop and studio in the Oxfordshire countryside, Harber and his team handcraft each piece using copper, bronze, stainless steel, and stone—materials chosen for their beauty and endurance. Inspired by the elemental dialogue between nature, science, and art, his creations explore reflection, illusion, and the passing of time.
As Harber notes, “People with little time to spare become spellbound when you show them an altered reality in the fabric of a sculpture. Surely this is the role of art today: to encourage us to pause and contemplate.”
Join us for an evening that celebrates the transformative power of sculpture and the enduring artistry of one of Britain’s most inventive designers.
