Perched nine feet above sea level on a coastal ridge facing the ocean, this residence was commissioned by Clarence C. Prentince. The house was decorated by Virigina Johnson (wife of Wyeth’s partner William Johnson) with Polynesian influenced furnishings. It was built out of old brick over wood frame and many of the doors are louvered to allow for circulation.
