Using money from a bank loan, Mizner established Mizner Industries in 1919 to meet the demand for building supplies and decorations for his Palm Beach clientele. Los Manos Potteries was the first division of Mizner Industries and produced tiles and decorative pottery. The company eventually expanded to include the production of antique pieces and furniture, wrought-iron work, and lighting fixtures designed by the architect.
