Join the Preservation Foundation of Palm Beach for the Kelly Williams and Andrew Forsyth BioBlitz, an early-morning exploration of Palm Beach’s coastal ecosystems. Beginning at 6:30 AM at Midtown Beach, participants will work alongside Foundation staff and local experts to document the island’s rich biodiversity.
Using the citizen science apps iNaturalist and eBird, attendees will help record plant and wildlife observations that contribute to global conservation databases. This hands-on initiative engages the community in a meaningful effort to better understand and protect the island’s natural environment.
The BioBlitz provides a vital snapshot of local species that will inform ongoing restoration and conservation work at Phipps Ocean Park and beyond. All ages and levels of experience are welcome—just bring your curiosity and a smartphone to get started.
