The Preservation Foundation of Palm Beach is pleased to welcome Marissa Geoffroy, Chief Creative Officer of Sherle Wagner International, for a conversation exploring the intersection of artistry, craftsmanship, and heritage within one of America’s most celebrated names in architectural hardware and fixtures. Representing the third generation of her family’s leadership, Geoffroy brings the perspective of a practicing artist to a company founded by her grandparents and built upon an enduring appreciation for fine art, exceptional craftsmanship, and timeless design.

Marissa’s path to design began in an unexpected place. After initially pursuing a career in law, she turned to the fine arts, earning her MFA from the California College of the Arts in San Francisco in 2017. An accomplished painter, sculptor, and photographer whose work has been exhibited across California, New York, and the Pacific Northwest, she brings an artist’s sensibility to her approach to product design and creative direction.

Joining Sherle Wagner International as Creative Director in 2014, Marissa soon made her mark with the Sierra Collection, which received a LUXE RED Award and introduced a new chapter of design leadership for the family company. Now serving as Chief Creative Officer, she oversees the brand’s creative vision across product design, artistic direction, and craftsmanship. Her process remains closely connected to the act of making itself, often bringing her to the company’s Fall River, Massachusetts, foundry, where she collaborates with master craftspeople as bespoke faucets, fixtures, door hardware, and lighting are brought to life.

Join us to discover how Marissa Geoffroy is carrying a remarkable family legacy forward, bringing together fine art, traditional craftsmanship, and contemporary creativity to create objects designed to endure for generations.

Registration to come.
