Volk designed the Florida Capital Corporation Building in the Neoclassical style for businessman Alfons Landa. The six-story commercial building has a smooth stucco exterior finish with double and triple hung windows. The building’s two facades, located on Royal Palm Way and Lake Drive, utilize recessed doorways framed with segmental arches and floor-to-ceiling bay windows.
