Collection
While we typically think of Palm Beach history as grand galas and palatial estates, Palm Beach is built on the stories and memories of the people who call this island home. The Palm Beach Community History Collection is made up of pieces donated by individuals who participated in the Preservation Foundation’s Community Archiving Day events.
Often overlooked, these intimate details, like letters to parents, family photos, and receipts from local businesses, provide invaluable information on the full experience of life here, and our archives has been lucky enough to connect with people who have generously shared letters, photographs, and recollections across generations of families in Palm Beach.
