The Preservation Foundation of Palm Beach is pleased to welcome Cordelia de Castellane, Paris-based interior designer, celebrated tastemaker, and Artistic Director of DIOR Home and Baby DIOR, for a conversation inspired by her latest book, Flower Couture: From My Garden to My House. An ambassador of the French art de vivre, de Castellane is known for her refined use of color, appreciation for fine textiles, and instinctive ability to bring together styles with warmth and elegance.
Published in 2025, Flower Couture invites readers into de Castellane’s private garden in the French countryside, where flowers and the changing seasons provide an endless source of inspiration for the home. A sequel to Life in a French Country House, the book follows flowers from garden to tabletop, weaving together de Castellane’s personal approach to gardening, interiors, and entertaining. Organized by season and explored through color, its pages offer inspiration for floral arranging, hosting, and cultivating beauty in everyday life.
Since 2012, de Castellane has served as Artistic Director of DIOR Home and Baby DIOR, bringing her distinctive perspective to the celebrated French house. Beyond her work in design, her creative world is deeply influenced by her gardens, family life, and the rituals of entertaining, a personal approach that reflects the enduring relationship between the spaces we create and the ways we gather within them.
Join us to discover Cordelia de Castellane’s enchanting world of gardens, interiors, and entertaining, and explore how flowers, color, and the traditions of French hospitality can bring beauty and a sense of occasion to everyday life.
